A graduate from The London Film School, Remi is a black British born filmmaker who likes to tell stories about disability, invisible illnesses/struggles and intimately complicated queer relationships. He has an affinity with intimate black stories, often told from his own experiences growing up in a Caribbean household. When it comes to visual storytelling, Remi has a very poignant and romantic style.


Remi shadowed Director Sam Masud on BBC Three TV series “Boarders” in summer 2023. His recent film “Saving Art” has been selected for Slamdance Film Festival 2024 and has found great success on the festival circuit in 2023. Winning 1 award out of 3 nominations at the 2023 British Short Film Awards, including “Best Director” at the Big Syn Film Festival 2023. Notable alumni film festivals include: the Academy qualifying LA Shorts, BAFTA qualifying Norwich, Aesthetica & Glasgow Film Festival.
